| Hello, I'd like to thank you for visiting my site. I am Jeff Sterner. As a native of Washington, D.C., I have lived in the Metro area for a little more than thirty years. My wife and I currently make our home with two children just West of I-95, here in Springfield. After graduating from McLean High School in 1990, I enlisted in the U.S. Army. Stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, I learned many valuable lessons including a strong work ethic, the importance of a positive attitude, and teamwork. I enjoyed the challenge of daily life as a military soldier, training with the best of the best in everyday operations. I have worked with some great companies since leaving the Army. My first love was finance. I was always fascinated with the fact that your money could work for you rather than you work for your money. As an SEC licensed marketing assistant at Prudential Securities, then later at Merril Lynch, I made stock recommendations, financial decisions, and solicited business from prospective clients. I then worked for Domino's Pizza as a store manager. I worked for Frank Meeks who now owns several stores in the D.C. Metro are. During this time, I managed six different stores throughout Maryland and The District. In the mid-90's, my fluency with computers led to a new career in the I.T. field. I have worked with everything from the Apple Macintosh, to the most current PC's. I now have the latest products from the best leaders in the field featured in the PC's of my home network where I practice web development, software applications, operating systems, networking. I attended Computer Learning Center, received my diploma in their Network Engineering & Management program. I have also taken courses on-line, and have obtained industry specific certifications. I am proficient with installation, configuration, technical troubleshooting of many products, and operating systems. Thank you, Jeff Sterner |
